| Sixth Man | Got this from Real Gm thought it was an interesting subject we can discuss here. Remember when Dumars tried to get Chris Webber here as a free agent back in the day before he went to Sacramento (?), but was rejected, so we had to settle for Uncle Cliffy instead? Remember when Dumars was cock blocked by Matt Geiger from getting Allen Iverson? Remember when Dumars wanted Nazr Mohommed back when he was with Atlanta and was considered as an up-and-coming young center? Rip Hamilton and Billups Dumars eventually got all of these guys. I was trying to think of other players that Dumars has openly pursued, but couldn't get (at the time). This could be key to guessing some of these future transactions that may take place this summer. Does anyone have any players in mind? |

White first caught on in the Spanish League with Bàsquet Manresa, followed by a stint with Lagun Aro Bilbao. He was cut by Bilbao on November 1, 2006. The following month, he joined Scavolini-Gruppo Spar Pesaro in the Italian League for the remainder of their season. In November 2007, he joined the Chinese League team Zhejiang Guangsha. He next played with the Arecibo Captains of the Puerto Rican League. In the summer of 2008, he signed a contract with the Euroleague power Maccabi Tel Aviv[3]. He was cut by Maccabi on December 2, 2008.

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | My point is rising to the occasion and that only happened in 04 against the Lakers (who didn't have Robert Horry..Thank God lol) Hey I love what Billups did for Denver that does not go unnoticed. Just hate when your best player who has a clear cut advantage over his opponent plays to the level of his comp. Also thrilled in a selfish Piston way that Billups went as far as he might of this year with us. Lakers are in their prime and are set up for the next couple of years which also means not good news for Denver. I dont see Denver out doing the Lakers in the future and Denver could have already possibly peaked just as last years Piston team could not go any father with how they were constructed. And for Denver the Lakers are not their only comp for years to come, Teams like Portland and Houston could very well pass them. So when people say Denver got the better deal, it wont matter because it did not get Denver to the Finals. I think this was Denver's best shot and now we can focus on our future. : 0 For This Post 0 Total | Also if you want to debate about Chauncey going to the finals and becoming a finals MVP, lets not forget that if it weren't for Tays Block, does Billups even get a chance to be a finals MVP? Tay hustles back from a Billups turnover and that play was the key play in the series. |
