Seems to me that Davis-Sullinger and Monroe-Biyombo would be good combinations for both teams with complementary players as opposed to both teams having players with largely redundant talents. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | I'd move our pick for Javale Mcgee before I'd trade it for Biyombo. Biyombo's hype is still a lot more impressive than his production at this point. And despite his reputation, Mcgee showed he could play well in a winning environment after the trade to Denver. |

Not great. Decent. He can rebound the ball and block shots and that is about it. The jury is still out about whether he will be a game changing defender. Right now, he's a shot blocker that doesn't really impact the course of a game. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Charlotte has the worst record in league history. Where exactly is Biyombo taking them? McGee is getting minutes and playing well and helping win games that matter for a team headed to the playoffs(including a memorable rebound putback over Monroe that kept us from beating them last time we played). I don't think the direction of a franchise is solely dependent on either guy, neither is a franchise big man who's gonna lead anybody anywhere, but don't pretend Biyombo has some record of success in this league that puts him somehow ahead of Mcgee. Nothing resembling success or winning can be attributed to anything associated with a Bobcats player. Last edited by Jangul; 04-25-2012 at 10:35 AM. |

: 0 For This Post 3 Total | Do you guys really think Sullinger is a future all-star in this league? I don't get that that's a realistic possibility. Unless he's one hell of an offensive player, which I question, is that enough to offset his awful defensive ability? Supposedly he's got very questionable feet and agility. So, IMO, either draft someone who fits our needs, or trade this pick for a player that does fit. I'd take Biyombo in a heartbeat. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Other than the video of McGee running down to the other end of the court when his team still had possession, why is he criticized here so much? Every time I have seen him play he seems like a monster force on the court. I haven't seen enough to say much about his offensive game, but he blocks shots, alters shots, and intimidates. He is about what I think Drummond may become in 2-3 years. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Kstat...that video proves nothing. I could make a mix of just about any player in the league making bad decisions/plays. I could also make a mix of McGee doing amazing things on the court. I didn't like Shaq as a player and I like him even less as a "personality" doing basketball commentary. I'm not a McGee fan or apologist, but I do know that he intimidated the heck out of the pistons players whenever we played his teams to the point of missing easy layups etc. I would love to have someone with his intimidation. |

Sortable 82games "Simple Ratings" for NBA Players I watched him a lot. Maybe with the right coach and environment, he could really have an impact but after five years, he's still nothing special overall. Fun to watch though. |

Half the centers in the NBA have dominated the pistons this year. Big baby looks like Moses Malone against us. We have the worst defensive front court in the NBA. If that's really your measuring stick, maybe we should have offered Glen Davis $50 million last summer. | |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Kstat, you are obviously an intelligent guy who is passionate about the Pistons. However, you seem to continue to ignore any nuance of my posts and just respond in an antagonistic, black or white manner. Javale McGee is a physically intimidating player who, if he could play smarter on the court, could be a very good player. We have all stated that his weakness is that (as Billl stated above) "McGee is a game changing athlete but is a knucklehead". |
