I hate their owner, their style and their team colors. They're the Utah Jazz (stockton era) of the NFL to me. I think Buffalo is the only team I'd be less excited to watch.

Surprising final score with little offensive yardage by either team: Pittsburgh 31 Baltimore 24. I was rooting for Baltimore but the Steelers will move on. New England is still the team to beat in the AFC. |

It's hard to expect him to have a Darrell Green length career even though he's still pretty close to the top of his game.

To me, the best and hardest fought game during the playoffs was the Ravens/Steelers game so I'm thinking the Steelers are the team to beat now. Pittsburgh Over Green Bay for the Super Bowl. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | boy I wonder if the reffing crew is going to be spoken to about the bears/packers game. The interception right at the half...the ref official with the commentators were talking about the two things they were looking at...one whether it was int or not...and whether he was down by contact or not which he clearly was... then they say confirmed int...fine...but they spot the ball at like the 12...when it was clear that the guy was touched back at the 1. That changes things a bit but because it is not sucha simple kneel down anymore...but not huge but was kind of called out on TV...Not too much mention about that... Also Rodgers effort to tackle Urlacher was huge....if the bears had scored that...the game would have been totally different...not a ton of focus on that either... Also thought the officials blew it when Lovey was forced to challenge the one int that was clearly not...but The better team won the game...and deservedly so... |

Maybe it's the mental disabilities that come from being a Lions fan, but the Lions beat GB without Stafford and the Steelers are the Friggin Steelers, right? I'm not sure it's even gonna be a close game, and if it is it will be deceptively close in the way that Jets game was -- early lead followed by a not-enough comeback. |

"I've told everyone that at 50 I might try football again to show people I can do that," Walker said on Monday during a conference call to promote his upcoming fight. "I want to be the George Foreman of football, come back and do that one more time." He's been eating 1 meal since he was a teenager! Crazy. |

Pittsburgh scores touchdown near the end of the 1/2 to bring score closer. Neither team looking great offensively but give the edge to Green Bay. Some injuries on the back end (secondary) for Green Bay going into half-time. One thing I noticed during the game is the Steelers defense is getting to Aaron Rodgers (almost every play). On the other hand, Big Ben has been well-protected. I still think the Steelers are going to pull a win out of this. |

Another good draft and some good free agent pickings and they should be in the playoffs next year (providing they stay reasonably healthy). They could only be a couple of years away from being a contender for the Super Bowl (I believe Suh said that too). |
