If you take out 3 of their starters, they have no shot. The cavs basically have a cake walk to the finals. We blew it up 4 games into the season. Orlando lost their starting pg. The celts lost KG. The hawks lost everyone. Nobody else in the east can even make the games competitive. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | I had thought that a Lakers/Cavs battle would be one hell of a duel, but after seeing both teams, the only outcome I see is Cleveland winning it all. If there are no major injuries. I'm not even convinced that the Lakes are going to win the West. Still some interesting matchups on the way to the finals and much blood to be spilt. This post-season seems to be much more physical than in recent memory and we're only in round two. |

Also, Artest is a really good defender on Kobe. If Houston plays strong physical games, if the pound the ball inside and put bodies on teh Lakers, they have good chances to take two at home and really put somke serious preassure on the Lakers. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Also, I do not see how Orlando is going to prevail. They need a strong leader or two. And it does not seem to be the Superman (as much as I like him and would love him on our team) and it's definitely is not Stan VG. Any coach who says to the team i na free fall sth like "we need to crank it up or this game will go to the wire" (what he said in the huddle during the first game) has no clue about coaching. So, I think Boston will win tonight and will regain the home court advantage and will eventually prevail. As a matter of fact, MAgic seems so mentally weak, that teh Celts may be capable of winning two in Orlando. |

I had to change my name, think of a new password, and use my brother's email address to be able to post again. (I won't take it personally.) I have been speed reading through the last few days posts. Why do you guys dislike Lebron so much? I watch him and think, shit....he's such a gooooood player. He's faster, stronger, quicker, smarter, more intense, practices more, can play any position, has height, power, is a leader, is a beautiful jumper, can throw down a dunk like no other, etc. Your right, he doesn't have to do the tough guy thing after dunking, but I try to ignore that. Life's too short. Watch him and enjoy. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Definitely. They both have enough size and athleticism to not get completely overwhelmed and they play different kinds of very effective defense to keep LeBron off balance. Of course, I say that and I watch Kobe drain a last second 3rd-quarter 3-pointer over Artest despite nearly perfect defense. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | pistons junkie why do I dislike BronBron? after the '07 series against the PIstons, he said something to the effect: "I can't believe those refs went for my flop" - in calling a foul against the PIstons during the '07 ECF. That and the Zo-like flexing and pseudo-emotions (1st shot off). Do I respect his game? may be the best ever. |

: 0 For This Post 1 Total | I like LeBron. He's an amazing talent, does stuff on the court that I've never seen and he's not a me-first guy on the court like Kobe for most of his career and also the guy we had to deal with this year. There's nobody in the league that I'd rather have be a Piston right now. Is it his fault that he had the disadvantage of being born in Ohio? So he said he flopped? At least he owned up to it. I far prefer that to lying or trying the Phil Jackson spin/lie/whine method. As for the Lakes being weaker without Fish, all the lakes fans at World X thought they'd be better off without him. Farmar did step up and Shannon Brown was okay. The ESPN guys were speculating that the lakes should start Farmar the rest of the way.

I was surprised the refs didn't use the replay option as that is something they often do to make sure that a flagrant 2 was warranted. Kobe even said after the game that he didn't think it was anything more than a hard playoff foul and maybe a flagrant 1.

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | I third what the guys above said.... Bozo did you even watch the foul? The refs have been screwing Artest the whole series with these reputation calls and I actually wish he would flagrant foul Kobe's motor mouth ass. Never didn't like Kobe before but I'm starting to really dislike him now. |

He's shoving cameramen out of the way right now and I'm sure he'll have some choice comments soon. The Mavs claim they fouled Anthony before the shot. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't, but it wasn't super blatant given an end game situation. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Love to see the baby Mavs and Cuban get crushed. They claim they fouled Anthony? Well, if the defender Antoine Wright actually intended to foul him as the Mavericks claimed, then he was too fucking stupid to GRAB him instead of letting Anthony bounce off his upraised arms and chest, keep going, and score. What a moron. Just wrap him up so that nothing can happen... Last edited by bozo the clown; 05-09-2009 at 08:41 PM. |
