: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Because I saw a Detroit x Boston game around 1986 or 87 that Detroit was losing by something like 20 points and all of a sudden, in the third quarter I think, their defense was all over Boston, their intensity was fantastic, they were fighting like warriors and for the first time in my life I enjoyed watching a NBA game, so I decided that I was going to support that team, and I'm 100% faithful to my choices when it comes to sports. Once I make up my mind, I never give up on my team. |

Because Dennis Rodman was greater here than he was in Chicago and he was fucking fantastic in Chicago. Because Corliss Williamson drilled JO with that ball (classic) and scored off the bench. Because Don Reid went from being the last pick to starting center at 6'8" and had more heart than most opposing front courts combined. Because Grant Hill could get to the basket on anyone and he dunked on that arm flexing, franchise betraying, cool losing motherfucker Alonzo Mourning the only way that play could have been better is if Mourning had died. Because we took Reggie Miller and Karl Malone out for good. Because we stopped Shaq and the bitches from Miami from getting to the finals in '05. Because my screen name is inbetweengame after Richard Hamilton. Because Tayshaun Prince's narrow ass shut down Tracy McGrady and ended Reggie Miller. Because we all hated teal and that's the only thing we've ever all agreed on. Because our biggest draft bust ever is still good enough to start in the NBA. But mostly because Detroit has heart. Corliss was ideal for his role here and he was a man which seems obvious and pointless to say but actually makes all the difference in the world. Thanks for the clip |
