Detroit is up 7 points at the end of the 1st quarter. This despite Atlanta shooting a spectacular 62% on their field goal attempts. Detroit is shooting a respectable 46%.

The Detroit Pistons are trailing by 2 at halftime. Their leading scorers are Charlie Villanueva with 11 then Tracy McGrady Rodney Stuckey and Austin Daye all have 9. The Pistons team is shooting 8-10 from behind the long line as George Blaha would say.

It is quite a shame that they were not able to maintain their lead but I look forward to seeing what they will be able to do in the final 24 minutes. I think they will win.

At the end of the third quarter the Detroit Pistons find themselves trailing by 6. Tracy McGrady finds himself as the leading scorer with 14 points but has only shot 3 for 9 from the field.

Will Bynum is your assist leader with 6. He also hit a nice three point basket towards the end of the quarter.

WOW did anybody else just hear Eli Zaret's off-air comment towards the end of that timeout that managed to find itself on air?

Kuester was drawing something up during the timeout and he was basically talking to himself. The players couldn't look more disengaged. Zaret was talking and I don't think expected them to go back on air so quickly.

Does anybody pay attention to him (Kuester)? Nobody's even looking.

Final Score of tonight's ball game is 94-79.

I was going to say that Coach Kuester had a curious move or non move by keeping the bulk of his bench in but that would be too nice and I am not feeling like being so nice right now. We are all adults here so I will let one rip.

He fucking flat out gave up! Gave right the fuck up! The bench was not getting it done and the lead kept getting bigger. What does the Coach do? Not a mother fucking thing! 6 minutes pass. 7 minutes pass. He finally puts Rodney Stuckey and Greg Monroe but it was already too late. He then calls a time out with 3 minutes left and he puts in the last guy on the bench!

Maybe I will calm down tomorrow but tonight I want this imbecile fired!

What a motherfucker!

The only stat I care about tonight is that we got a loss which is our third in a row.

Avery Johnson or Doug Collins would have been good coaches here, but they turned the job down. When you end up with plan C-D-E it isn't pretty.

Man, with the Pistons playing stinkers like this one at home, it's hard to stay interested. Part of me wants them to win but another part of me says the season is lost already and it might be better to regroup for next season. Unless a big trade is made before the trade deadline, this is the roster that will represent the Detroit Pistons the rest of the season. Blah! There definitely needs to be changes for next season. Bring on the new owner!!!

Well, when you hit 80% of your 3's in a half and are still behind, you know the next half isn't going to be pretty. The whole team got sucked into shooting jumpshots. When they stopped falling, we fell behind fast.
