As fun a 1st half as I've seen all year. The veterans for the most part not being involved had a big impact. We played a lot faster, and the ball didn't stop nearly as much.

I think most teams would take a chance on any of Rip, McGrady, or Tayshaun...They just wont give up anything worth more than a basketball for them......Still cant believe Joe turned down a first for Tayshaun.....

This was easily the most enjoyable Pistons game I've seen this season. You could tell the fans there felt the same way. I actually heard the Palace rocking for the first time this year.

That was Bynum's best game as a Piston, bar none. He actually defended most of the time he was in there.

Likewise, this has been his best week as a Piston. Maybe at long last he's finally got the message that better defense will translate to more minutes.

I've also noticed Bynum is far more efficient when he stops shooting jumper entirely. He's got the athleticism to get to the basket anytime he wants. He doesn't need the defense to respect his jumper.
