: 0 For This Post 0 Total | For the record, I can understand why Knight got yanked, but Bynum has been every bit as bad at protecting the ball, if not worse. I suppose it's better to take the rook out as a teachable moment... |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Our players ARE giving defensive effort. The 1989 pistons would get lit up if they turned the ball over every 10 seconds like we do. You cant defend against that. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Kstat why argue about everything? I was just saying Tony Allen makes a good effort on defense and that I like that. Our effort tonight has been solid but poor shooting and turnovers have been deadly. The Sixers are a good team folks. They've got depth, play defense and are listening to Doug Collins that's tough to beat but if our offense was a little steadier we'd be in the game so don't sweat it. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | He didn't look good. There are turnovers and there are bad turnovers and he had several of the latter. They led directly to a couple of dunks for Philly. His shooting was horrible as well. He was left wide open repeatedly and couldn't hit. Nobody except Monroe looked good though, so it's tough to judge too much with so few options for him to use. Hopefully he'll make some adjustments tonight. All a part of the process. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | It should be noted that Knight did a lot of things right. He led us in rebounds with 9. He generally looked good making shots at the rim. He repeatedly found wide open teammates. They just kept missing. He was pretty much error-free until late in the 2nd half. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | I don't know about him being error-free early. I was surprised at how often he lost track of Holiday in the first half, and by how easily Jrue blew by him early; although it's to his credit that he played Holiday tougher in the second half. I was surprised to see he'd cobbled together 4 dimes. I've never seen a team miss so many uncontested jumpers and layups in my life. It's a wonder we broke 70. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Knight did not look good. His shot wasn't falling, but that isn't anything to be worried about long term. He was still getting into the lane and hitting guys for open looks - not bunnies, but open shots. The bad part was he got rattled. They got physical and he started turning the ball over. It looked like he was rushing to "do something" before the defense collapsed on him. He's going to have to learn to accept the pressure and then make a play for an open teammate. |

As long as Knight and Monroe reach their potential over the next few years, whatever happens this season is o.k. with me. Sure, I'd like to see JJ, Stuckey, Daye and Gordon succeed too - but the key to our future is Knight and Monroe. | |
