I just never did find an active BB board to replace this one, and I missed talking BB.

I'm planning to not get mixed up in arguments or any of the personal attacks this go-around.

yeah, personal attacks surely can sour the situation

now, personal invitations...

So, the other day at dawn
I walk with my Ladies on the beach
and all of the sudden, I see this gorgeous beauty
walking straight from the sun, her dog
likes my ladies, they start playing beautifully
as only the dogs can play:

the conversation is great, she says
how about we have a cup of coffee sometime
and that definitely sounds inviting and personal

then I wake up
my dogs want out
it's f@$kin' cold

And that would open up a spot for Daye - who really is a SG, IMO. Daye in the lineup getting regular PT at one main position would give the Pistons a chance to develop a really great offensive talent. Plus, he would add a lot of rebounding support from that position - since he has always shown a willingness to battle for rebounds. And, he's a better defender right now than Gordon ever was. Overall, it would be great to get his size and length into our backcourt, given we are such a size-challenged team. If Daye doesn't make it after getting that big an opportunity, then so be it. We'll just move on. But if he does make it here, suddenly our core group looks a lot better and deeper for the future.

If we trade Gordon, that would allow us to amnesty CV next year. I think CV might be finished in Detroit. I'd be shocked if, when he comes back able to play, that he'll suddenly prove to be a great fit here. He's too lousy defensively for us to want to pair him with Monroe.
It would be awesome to trade CV to a team like Golden State that likes to run.

I'm very much in favor of the move Matt suggests here even though I don't share much hope that Austin Daye will pan out. Getting some return for Gordon and being able to try Daye out would be a good step toward a positive future.

If we could send CV to Golden State I'd love to get Dorrell Wright he's a good community guy and an effort guy on the court.
