: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Holy shit suddenly we're a hot shooting squad. The highlight reel from this game is going to be fun to watch. Brandon Knight working on a big man double-double. I love the five assists from Greg Monroe as well. With the way he makes fundamental plays inside and moves the ball he can really help the offense in a lot of ways. Golden State has plenty of reason to be irritated reason number one is Mark Jackson, reason number two is that they didn't draft Greg Monroe. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Solid overall game for Brandon Knight 5-11, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 10 rebounds and 0 turnovers so far. That's not perfect but it is good and it shows effort and improvement. Ben Gordon a little bit worse than Knight but not terrible. He is what he is. Good to see the bench guys out there now and fun to get a win. Last edited by Inbetweengame; 01-13-2012 at 09:12 PM. Reason: Stats update. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Knight has started 6 games this year. If my math is right, as a starter he's at 14.5 ppg, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3.67 turnovers, 46.6% fg, 46.7 3 pt % Obviously those assist and turnover numbers are bad, but the rest is pretty damn good. Definitely reason to hope. |

It was an excellent read exposing Jordan as the first rate asshole and liar that he is. Really enjoyed seeing the growth today our guys really walked the walk. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Oh and I gotta agree with Hobbs Brandon Knight is showing lots to be hopeful about. The turnover thing should come down with time and I already like the fearlessness and effort we're seeing with things like his rebounding. I really think he's going to be a legit starter by the end of the season. |

He just isn't a very good point guard, nor does he defend all that well. On a team like Charlotte, with few guys that want to shoot the ball, he's perfect. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | He's a better ball handler than Ben Gordon but Gordon lite seems about right. Too small, too limited, no defense. Why not see if they want to have both Gordon lite and Gordon on their roster? We send them Ben Gordon they send us DeSagan Diop and Eduardo Najera. They have shorter contracts and they're bigger. We pick up a free agent guard who'll hustle on defense and start Stuckey and Knight. Last edited by Inbetweengame; 01-15-2012 at 05:38 AM. Reason: checked a trade |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Gee, you think? Ryan has definitely slowed down on the Gordon bashing/trade scenarios, so let's give credit where it's due. However, proposing we trade him for 2 worthless players who can't crack the rotation in Charlotte, simply because they're bigger is pretty foolish, which is probably why Bing brought up your propensity for any trade scenario that involved dumping Gordon. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | I may be overreacting a bit but I can't honestly recall the last time I got anything from Bing other than negativity and I'm tired of it. Very tired of it. I try to be nice to people because I like it when people are nice to me and I'd hope we could all try to follow some sort of guideline like that. As for the trade proposal the entire point was to get rid of Ben Gordon's contract we could trade for those two who probably have no on court value (Eduardo Najera was solid role player in his day though) and be out from under the money committed to Gordon much, much sooner. One of them expires this year and one next I think and Gordon has either two or three years left. That was the point. Also it's a move we might be able to swing now since they're looking like crap and might want to shake things up. My general view on Gordon this year is that he's trying hard and I respect the fact that he seems to have improved as a playmaker so I'd like to keep him. As our sixth man he might be able to find his shot again and hopefully up his trade value or actually become a workable part for us. And I had no idea about Bing losing a hand it must make typing a real effort. As a gesture of good will I'd be willing to chip in some money toward a prosthetic hand though with my limited budget it'd probably be more of the Captain Hook variety than the Luke Skywalker model. |

Arrogant bastard thought fighting a tiger would be easier than a lion, he gets what he gets. We should have a code of conduct on this board. This place has been slipping over the last few years. Ryan and I can't be the only ones who post with complete respect for others, it has to be a team effort. As to Ben Gordon. We all want him gone, you just haven't come up with a trade yet that people agree with. I think the closer we get to the trading deadline, the more realistic the Gordon trade idea, the more support you will receive. Even dick face Dave Bing will give you your due if/when you earn it. |
