| Sixth Man | I think Stuckey is out for a game or two. Probably turns this into an automatic loss unless Knight and Gordon go crazy go nuts. |

: 0 For This Post 3 Total | 49-30 at the half. We have just got to be the worst team in the league. This really can't be close. The guys Frank has to go to as bigs off the bench are Ben Wallace and Maxiell. Ben is just a shell of himself - a completely ineffective player at both ends of the court (and just the black hole of grossness on offense). Maxiell is even worse, somehow. Starting Ben with Monroe is a total waste of Monroe's ability - he has nobody to pass to. Teams don't even pretend to put a man close to Ben. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | My problem with the game is this: We've reverted back to the Tayshaun point forward offense, and told Knight to stand in a corner and play off the ball, so we don't have any more turnovers. Well, Knight has 2 assists and 0 turnovers at halftime. And we've scored 30 points on %38 shooting. Yes, Tayshaun is a tempting safety valve, because he's smart and doesn't make mistakes with the ball. He's also not capable of facilitating an offense, so what we get time and time again is him taking his man 1 on 1 and waiting for a double team. The ball isn't going through Monroe anymore. Knight is not learning anything by standing in a corner and watching Tayshaun pound the air out of the ball, and worst of all, we're even less effective offensively. I liked Tayshun when he was playing off the ball and spotting up. He does that well. I loathe him dominating the offense, which does not help anything. Last edited by Kstat; 01-20-2012 at 08:47 PM. |

We have a better O when we play faster and try to run. Anyway, -8 after the 3rd but we def play with a greater intensity now and have more boards and more trips to the line | |

: 0 For This Post 3 Total | Knight is so damn young - but he's got a lot of fight in him. I didn't see the whole game, but I enjoyed watching him tonight. Let's face it - against a great/good D like Memphis's, you just cannot role out total non-scorers like Ben Wallace (starter!) and Jason Maxiell - especially when you are asking Prince to be a main scorer. Tay has got to be the worst main scorer on any team in the NBA. But give Knight and Monroe another year of seasoning and improving and give them better offensive talent, and I think you're going to see both of these guys really excel. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | I guess I got lucky. I didn't see the first half, and only saw the main part of the run to cut the lead by 15. The run was fun to watch. As soon as Daye entered the game, the game went south. The kid makes an effort and makes an occasional good play, but he needs to find a way to contribute better on D. I still see Brad Sellers when he plays. I liked what I saw from Walker Russell -- he looks to distribute and facilitate, which is something the team sorely lacks otherwise. I hope they give him a few games to get a decent evaluation. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | “Just continue to attack,” Knight said Prince told him. “And continue to get our team, our spirits, up. He said, ‘Good job attacking, good job bringing us back,’ and as I attack, get others involved, too. It means a lot. He’s been to a place I’m trying to get as far as the type of player he is. He wants the best for our team. Just to have your veterans talk to you and try to lead you in the right direction shows our team is trying to get better.” -from Freepress. I thought Prince is doing what the organization asked him to do. Guide the rook. Well done Tay. It's a matter of time for us to get better. Seeing Russel Jr play is actually more satisfying than seeing Bynum play of late. He is getting the team involved as opposed to Bynum who is incapable of making good assist. Positive for the acquisition. Max and JJ on frontcourt? what were they thinking? No investment whatsoever on Max, I'd rather play Mackiel. The kid probably got talent.. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Not really, Im just not a fan of pirating low quality game feeds. I do that with NFL games because I don't feel like shelling out $340 to watch a dozen lions games. That said, the picture quality is nothing short of awful. It's like watching a slideshow with radio. $160 to watch (or re-watch) a few hundred NBA games is a fair price. Also, I can watch games on my cell or my ipad when I'm at work, and the streams are excellent quality. Last edited by Kstat; 01-21-2012 at 04:19 PM. |

| Sixth Man | I'm a big fan of league pass, though I get it gratis via a buddy at Turner, but I think I'd still pay $160 for it. Quite slick on iPad, I like that it is a full screen feed this year, last year they had a stupid overlay over a good portion of the top of the screen. |
