I could see a team wanting Gordon. IF the Lakers are considering bringing in Arenas, then there should be a market for Gordon.

If Gordon was on a minimum vet contract, there would be a huge market for him. As is, not so much. He's a good but not great player making big bucks.

One thing about originally signing Gordon was to have someone who can create a shot for himself and is a gamer. It looked like he was all that, since he almost by himself extended the Bulls series against the Celts to 7 games.

But it's a different situation now. I think Knight will have an ability to create for himself and others and, also, to some extent it is also true about Monroe and Stuckey.

Sure, it is great we have some fire power on the bench. But, also, it is not so good we pay him so much.

Gordon is making 11.6 mills this season (prorated)
12.4 next season
13.2 in 2013/15 (players option).

That's much too much, in my humble, for a fire power coming off the bench.

Great if we are contending, but we are not. 10 million is way to much for a bench player on a lotto team. Get a pick.

I'd say the Knicks are desperate enough to look for help in the backcourt but they are capped out.

NO has Kaman's expiring to offer but their best player is a SG. I think they're also just looking for draft picks.

In other news, I just found out that there's a player on NO named "Squeaky" Johnson.

I wonder if Boston is desperate enough to try and extend their window to offer Ray Allen's expiring for Gordon? Allen is still better (IMO) but he's 8 years older than Gordo.

By the way, uconn sure had a good run with Ray, Rip and Ben. Was there somebody in between those guys or was that 3 straight stud SG's?

Moore's name rings a bell. Was he known as Ricky Moore?

Very true. It was one of, if not the best, sub 40% shooting performances by a player whose team lost the series in the past 5 years.

When i said Richard Moore I was thinking of Kevin Freeman, but on second thought I think he played SF.

Albert Mouring was probably the starting SG both years.

I vaguely remember those guys.

Remember Khalid El-Amin? He's still playing overseas:

This is a cool read.

I remember Scottie Thurman turning Pro and not being drafted:

There's a great market overseas for fringe NBA guys. They make a good living overseas.
