Good loss. This is the type of team Dumars had in mind at the start of the season

Knight pretty much lost it for the team. He had an opportunity to ice it. Also, Monroe did not help things with his typical, terrible move to the post position from 10 feet out.

Shittacular finish. Knight's choke job on the free throws. Monroe missing on the post. Daye looking like Daye usually has.

Great effort regardless. Hopefully Daye has found his way.

The foul that on replay I thought couldn't possibly be on Stuckey and fouled him out altered this game. Stuckey calms us down and puts tons of pressure on the D.

Daye has to be given a shot at being a core guy on this team. If he were to be the player we saw tonight - and he's clearly talented enough to be that - that would be huge for our future.

He can't just bring it every third or fourth game though. The rest of the week, he's TPG.

In part, because some of them were "good" TOs (if there is such a thing). That is, they would stop the clock (on O fouls or when shot clock expired) allowing us to set up our D.

Miami is practically unstoppable if you allow them to run.

Signing Tay probably really affected Daye....Instead of looking at 25-30 minutes a game he went to 5-10 minutes a game...FOr a young player that can be a pretty big let down

I think that for any player, playing only 5-10 minutes a night makes it almost impossible to get a good rhythm going.

I know this can't be the truth, but it just seems to me that we'd be a better team if Daye were playing and Tay were not on the team.
