The Hawks shoot a lot of jumpers. Seems like every shot is 15 foot or out.

If they really do work together over the summer like Rodney Stuckey is talking about they're going to be a very solid backcourt. We could really use a good third guard though with size, a solid three point shot and good defensive skills. Basically Arron Afflalo.

IF the Pistons could draft Davis, we'd have an incredible transition game with Knight and Stuckey leading the way. Those two guys love pushing the pace as fast as they can - and that's extremely fast. Monroe, Jerebko and Daye would also thrive that with a pace like that. But Davis is a Josh Smith like athlete, and he'd be sensational.

TMac looked good for Atlanta. Up 2 after one quarter. At some point one of these teams will play at a decent enough level and leave the other in the dust.

Defense is the problem with Ben Gordon pretty regularly because he doesn't have great size or speed. We could do worse but I'd like to do better.

I've gotta go or I'm not going to make my lunch date but I want to go on record now. 1) We'll win a close game 2) Greg Monroe will finish with at least 15 10 and 5 3) Austin Daye will be more or less a non-factor 4) Brandon Knight will not turn the ball over. That last one is bold but I'm hopeful.

Greg Monroe can flat out play this game. When we become more of a veteran team and (of course) upgrade our talent with a couple more players, he's going to be awesome. He's going to thrive with other great players as they meld into a well-oiled team.

Great 2nd quarter for us. Pushed the ball nicely. Monroe got hot. Max hit everything.

Monroe, 9 points 8 rebounds 2 assists 2 steals. 4 for 10 shooting after missing a couple tip ins. One hell of a first half.

The first half was about Maxiell, Monroe, Stuckey, Knight and really good team play by us. Everyone was hustling and making smart plays out there. If we keep hustling, Atlanta's going to have to be really sharp to beat us tonight.

Uh, Monroe has been excellent in the post this year. He definitely worked a shit ton on it over the offseason. He had a couple games where he got shut down there, but otherwise he's been very efficient in the post.

I like WDR. Even though he missed the shot under the basket, he made a great move to get in a position to shot through the trees.

WDR also makes great decisions with the ball.
