: 0 For This Post 0 Total | so we have 3 game winning streak it looks to me like the guys are learning to work through adversities and close those close games. It's great to have Gordon coming of the bench; a huge lift tonight and JJ was great, too. |

He also showed the ability to put it on the floor from outside the elbow on the right, drive towards the paint and still hit the open player at the opposite left top of the 3 pt circle without stopping or giving up his dribble. There aren't many centers who can make that play. He's becoming a special player. |

I'm not really rooting for them lose badly. Just lose enough for a top 5 pick and a big man. It is what it is. A good draft and maybe a decent FA signing, and this team can have another 6 years of dominance.

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | We are just killing it out there. As for the rooting for them to lose thing... I'm glad when they win. I'm also happy when they lose. I think we're missing too much right now to be able to turn it around without another high quality draft pick. That said, Dumars did do it once (he just hasn't looked capable of doing it again). |

They thought they was getting the number 1 pick, LeBron James plus cap space to sign another star. Man the only thing they can look forward to is the new brooklyn arena |

(I maybe wrong about the exact # but it felt like it was quick) Then, the team he created had 6 trips to the ECF, 2 to the finals. So, to put things in very general perspective, only the Lakers and the Spurs had more success recently. If we add to it the classic era, then also the Celts, the Bulls, and the Bad Boys. I think as impatient fans we tend to underestimate ow successful GM Dumars was. I totally agree with all other sentiment. I am a fan. I want my team to win and fuck the ping balls. Win is always a win and makes me feel really good. But I appreciate the ping balls, too. OK, I actually think this team is better than we were giving them credit for, not to mention the potential. Knight and Stuckey is a really good combo, with good chemistry and complementary skills. Ben of the bench is deadly, and he can play with either Stuckey and Knight. It will be come a dominant guard rotation. Monroe is simply knocking on the category of elite, maybe already there. Tay is more than adequate for now and JJ great off the bench. We just need a solid big man and it maybe the second coming (or third, if the Bad Boys were the first coming). OK, maybe it's just homerizm and I am in a grip of the moment. But I like this team.

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | New Jersey appears to be one team that is worse than Detroit. What's up with Jason Maxiell??? Seems to be playing with more energy and more ups than he has in years. Since he's been a starter, he's been effective. Let's see if he can keep this up. Make no mistake, the Pistons aren't going to have a very good season. They're in the midst of rebuilding. I can understand fans wanting them to lose so they'll be in better position to get a better lottery pick. I somewhat feel that way but I also like that they're playing hard and it seems that the coach's tinkering with the lineup has paid dividends. The team has to learn how to win at some point. Playing Jerebko off the bench along with Ben Gordon and having Jason Maxiell start and playing Walker D. Russell Jr. some has the team playing better. We already know that Greg Monroe and Brandon Knight and probably Rodney Stuckey and most likely Austin Daye are going to be on this team next season so it's good to see some roles being established (for this season). We just need to find out who else from this current team is going to complement the young core. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | I ain't sure about Daye at all. We've got at team option on him. I'm not sure we'll exercise it at this point. We're in too big of a hole to play ourselves out of the lottery probably, and the basketball gods owe us a lottery win. If we can win games AND jump into the top 3 it would be a perfect season. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Well, there are about 7 players in the draft that I'd like on this team...so hopefully we get one of the top 7 picks which I think is a certainty. The top picks aren't always where it's at in the draft. Look at Kanter...he is averaging 5 points and almost 5 rebounds per game. Knight was a good pickup.I think Kidd-Gilchrist maybe a great pickup for us. |
