| Bench Player | I'll be at the Palace tonight. Scored free tickets through BBBS and then I found out Vanilla Ice was the half time entertainment. I'm honestly look forward to seeing what version of Ice Ice Baby he'll do more than watching the Pistons. |

Wilkins grabs a rebound, dribble all the way to the Pistons basket, makes an obvious decision not to pass the ball to any of his teammates, and then proceeds to airball. On the next position, Monroe backs a dude 1/2 his size down to the basket and proceeds to miss a 1 foot shot. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Wow --Knight with 26 and 7 with no turnovers? Not bad for a 20 year old, even if it was against the Bucks. Wish I would have seen that one. Was too busy watching School Ties with my son, which was also pretty good. Looks like Monroe was his consistent potential all-star self with 18 and 11.........do you guys think he has a chance to make the AS game as a reserve this year? He's avg'ing close to 16 and 10. Anyone know when they'll announce the reserves? |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | This is the first year in literally a decade in which I haven't gotten league pass -- I've almost purposefully have avoided all things NBA so I can try to skate by with seeing as little as possible of this horror movie of a season. So I'm pretty out of touch with things. And I may be way off base here, but even with Greg's 16/10, I'd be pretty shocked if they took him simply because the Pistons are like 3 and 59 and arguably the worst professional basketball team on the planet. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Went to the game lastnight and almost ashamed to admit that I really enjoyed the Vanilla Ice halftime show. The Palace always is top notch and they know how to make it an event. Brandon Knight was very impressive. Him and Brandon Jennings seemed to have something going on. They were jawing all night. BK came to ball and it showed. If Greg Monroe had just a few more inches on his vertical he would be dominate. To see him miss layups that he should be able to easily dunk is kind of frustrating. |

Daye sounds like a concern....and if he does not get it straightened out he will be out of the NBA soon. Also makes what was a hole a gaping cavern....we need another perimeter player along with a power player. This player need to play solid d and be able to hit outside jumpers, guard the quicker SF. I see JJ helping on bigger slower SF in the future.... |

: 0 For This Post 1 Total | I do admit I might've liked "Ice Ice Baby" for about a week or two. I liked "under pressure" so the sample was helpful. It got tired pretty quickly though. I think around the time he tried to deny paying royalties to Freddie Mercury/David Bowie for sampling their song, saying his loop was different, it became evident that he was a douche. Now, MC Hammer. Yes, I liked "Turn This Mutha Out" and I did (maybe still do?) own the "Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'em" CD. I never owned any Gerardo or Snow singles or CD's and hated Color Me Badd.

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | The stadium wasn't full, but compared to most of the games this season it seemed like good attendance. I do think that there were a lot of people there for Vanilla Ice. There was a lite buzz in the Palace, not quite like a playoff game, but reminded you of it. I think that is what made it so enjoyable. Plus, I remember being 13 years old and jamming to Ice Ice baby. |
