Monroe has been very impressive and Stux had a rough last 6 minutes of the 2nd quarter. He forced a couple of shots that finished short of the hoop and also had a turnover and a missed lay-up in traffic.

I liked what I saw of Moose, though.

Stuckey is not healthy -he has some sort of rib or stomach injury. Without Knight, we're down to one other guard available on the roster, the D-Leaguer Russell. We've got an outstanding chance to lose this game, unless Daye has a big 2nd half.

Monroe is great.

I can see Monroe being an important cog on a championship team. He's got a growing low-post game and is just solid.

Weather we can get the other pieces is the question.

Odds are strong that we've already got our PG. Starting with a PG and a Center is a hell of a start on a core. If we add the PF/C in the draft this year, which we should be able to, we'll be in great shape for the future.

We're playing a bad team with injury problems, as are the Hornets.

We've made some really ugly plays out there at times but what I like is that we're battling. We're also currently winning.

I guess it would be nice to start one winning Game Thread this year.

I think a lot of players wind up playing in the next game. Maybe he'll miss one.

I would think that it wearing a mask would be the toughest for a PG to adjust to, though.
