I'm convinced that Newman and Orwellian are split personalities from the same person. Both are partisan fan boys who refuse to acknowledge any merits of opposing opinions.

My theory is that one day, one of them was having a discussion with a person capable of acknowledging both sides of an argument. Let's say for example, Newman saw the fall of the Soviet Union and listened to a socialist professor discuss the merits of regulated capitalism. His world was turned upside down. Everything he believed was no longer true. Why had Marx's solution failed? It hadn't. No, it was simply the interference of those meddling capitalist Americans and their DOG!

That dog became a voice in Newman's head named Orwellian O. Sometimes he gets on the computer.
