I hope that is the case for Knight because it has been a very long time since we have had a great PG. Another aspect of his game that I have noticed marked improvement is rebounding. I see him out hustling and out jumping everyone for rebounds. He can really get up. I think with his work ethic and his intelligence added to his athleticism he could be a special player.

It's really good Pastrami, too. But we prefered Ben's (a few blocks south of Times Square). Not as touristy. Actually, that goes without saying since it's a true Kosher deli. Carnegie isn't.

I think Zingerman's is on par or better than Katz's (but I had turkey and I suppose that is not what they are known for). Better bread at the Zing and actually a smidge cheaper. I still enjoyed Katz's and I liked their atmosphere. I would go there again for sure.

: 0 For This Post 1 Total | I think Zingerman's sandwiches (at least the full) are as fat as the one I had today. Maybe not on a Carnegie level. I'll have to find out what they are all about. It's kind of sad. I really haven't experienced the city as much as I probably should. I've been living in Brooklyn most of the time I've been out here and often lay low and catch up on rest on my days off. I haven't been to MSG, any kind of play, museum or zoo. No Coney Island. I've been to quite a few bars though and ate at a really expensive Italian joint last weekend.

He's making a lot of mistakes, but he's learning. By all reports, he's always the first guy at the gym and the last guy to leave. Give him a full training camp, normal paced season and add some talent to the team and he could improve quite a bit next year. |

Ironically, had he stayed in Denver he would have probably been ok. He got traded to the Celtics which was his hometown team and was around all of the problem people from his life. In Denver, he talked about how McDyess and Van Excel took him under their wings and kept him clean. |

Monroe has a game that should last for years and years. It's also probably suited for playing this condensed schedule in that he doesn't rely on dunking over people. Being tired will probably have no diminishing impact on his skills. For a PG that runs and offense and shoots a decent amount, it probably does. You often hear about rookies hitting "the wall". Knight may have already hit that. A lot of that has to do with them playing around 30 games in college and the NBA being 82 games (normally). The multiple games with no rest contributes this season too.

If we could squeeze Charlie V into the deal it would be great. Otherwise, some combo of Daye, Bynum, and Max would be nice. |

I'll be very disappointed if he isn't dealt to a veteran team that needs an energy guy up front. Same with Gordon. Ship him off to LA for a lesser contract like luke walton plus Dallas's 1st rounder. LA badly needs a bench gunner. Last edited by Kstat; 03-12-2012 at 04:51 PM. |
