Shouldn't someone be setting up the league so we can get a good draft date ? I know that there is always a discussion about hour, day, week ect but it seems to me that it almost always ends up on a Sunday evening anyway. We should just get the best date and time and go with it..........

Ok, for now I'm reserving the last Sunday before the start of the season (September 4th). 7:45 pm Eastern . That will give us each a few drafts under our belts before this one, and hopefully by then we'll have seen a couple pre-season games to scout sleepers.

We can change the date up until August 1st. After that point, the draft time is locked in.

If you have any issues with the league settings, voice them now, not halfway through the season. I'm not changing anything from last year without a vote, so look over the settings and bring up any issues beforehand.

Also - I think we should switch to bidding on waivers. You get an annual budget, and you can bid as much as you want on each waiver player. That's the best way to give each person an equal shot at the guy they want to get.

T-Dot is paid up. $50 buy in.

I'm pulling out the iron fist on the waiver issue, it just makes too much sense to use the budget format. Everyone has a $100 budget for waivers, and you can bid as much as you want on each player before waivers are processed. The highest bid gets the player, tie breaker for equal bids goes to the person with the lower record.

I'll leave the auction vs. snake draft format up to a vote. I think auction is where it's at, personally - it completely eliminates the random luck of having a good draft spot. If we do go auction though, everyone needs to be at the draft.

Still waiting on Money and Rugby for the last two spots. If you didn't get the invite or you don't want to play this year, let me know either way.

So far it's two votes auction. Speak up bitches.

On most issues, but when Yahoo adds new features that make more sense for the league, I'm going to use those as the baseline. It's tough to get a response from everyone on each issue.

Are you objecting to the new waiver format? If so bring up your grievances and put it to a vote.
