: 0 For This Post 0 Total | 1978 World Championship Chicken Jambalaya (brown) I made this jambalaya for the LSU/UF game and for a Mardi Gras dinner we had. Both times everyone raved about it, but I'm still not sure if it's really delicious or if drunk people just aren't particular when it comes to food. I added sausage to this recipe and it comes out damn good. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Small snackings today: Davey's first-birthday cake leftovers from yesterday's brunch, along with leftover hashbrown casserole (a disaster of a recipe). Also, at least a pound of strawberries (in season right now), a stuffed zucchini and a fruit tart. Ate enough that not too hungry for dinner. |

: 0 For This Post 1 Total | Mia has now understood that there is little we can do to stop her. She's like Kim Jong Il. We can yell "stop" or promise to punish or whatever but she knows that it's all bluster and she is still going to eat, play and sleep as she pleases. She is now highly responsive and picks up words and their meanings every day. And she uses them alternatively to charm and provoke. It's kind of hilarious. She's running all day, loves anything inside a drawer or cabinet, can go up stairs but not down. Your basic 16 month old holy terror. |

: 0 For This Post 1 Total | Apropos of nothing, I picked up some delicious apple reisling salsa from Plum Market yesterday. Have been eating it non-stop since then. Bonus -- it's made in Michigan: Delicious Apple Reisling Salsa from Brownwood Farms Tres tasty and highly recommended. |
