They surely have enough room to go more in depth into many of the issues, maybe show the story from another angle (by introducing some interviews and the Japanese perspective), interviews with lawyers, etc. Two quick things: a) they need a faster ship b) they need some long range weapons throwing their stinky liquids from much greater distances. |

I was wondering why the Sea Shepherd didn't launch the Delta and Gemini to try and contaminate the whale. It seemed like they could have thrown some of that butyric acid on the whales while they were being dragged. |

I think their best bet is to design a long range weapon, some sort of catapult. They could use it to toss big containers (maybe sacks) with butric acid. They would break on the impact with any part of whaler's ship, even with protective nets. So, the entire decks would be sprayed with this stinky liquid.

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Also, an attack from a ship os actually easier than an attack from asmall boat, because a deck is higher and also, yiu can find some level of protection from water hoses. Of coiurse, small boats are faster, that's their advantage. Alkso, teh Dutch government requested from the captain not to use a ship as a platform for tossing anything on IshiMaru fleet. That's why Steve Ervin was forced to use small boats. The last episode, the season finale, is very interesting. In an attempt to stop teh tranfer of the whale's dead carcass, Steve Ervin tries to manouver herself between a factory ship and a harpoon ship. The intention is to sever the transport line. At a certain momen, there is actually a collision between two ships whch leads to the whole huhe international bruhaha, Australian FBI is involve, and so on. The legal matters are still pending. Maybe the most important bit of info, Japanese were 350 whales below their quote. So, Sea Sheperds actulally make some difference. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | I thought the episode before last was really strong, especially everything that happened with Godric. Last week's was a little goofy, but I think it was to add some levity before the last two episodes. I do like that there's someone too powerful for the vampires to handle. The last episode did have more Lafayette, which is always good. I think the next two episodes with the introduction of the Queen will be very interesting. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Oh my Godric!! I LOVED eppy 8 and the whole roof top scene with Eric.. I have to admit I cried...I know, I know...lame but dang, that was such a well acted scene. I actually like season 2 of True Blood more than season 1. The crazy Newlins storyline was great. I was sad to see Rev. Steve and his wife go...I couldn't stop repeating “The war has begun, you evil whore of Satan!” and then Jason paintballs him square on his forehead...priceless. Jason has been great this season, too...Sam and Andy Bellefleur...esp when he kept screaming PIIIIIIIIG! :))) |

I liked the part last episode when Don tells his wife's bro what's going to happen with their Dad and then Don sits down at the kitchen table and reads the newspaper without missing a beat. It was just like a typical day at Sterling-Cooper, with Don doing what he does best. True Blood has stepped up this season. I thought I read that Evan Rachel Wood is playing "The Queen." It will be interesting to see how the season plays out. |

I wonder if they'll have Michael Richards interact with The Blacks? I'm guessing they will address his meltdown.

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | It's pretty funny. Definitely a nice change of pace with The Office becoming more cartoonish, but I don't know if the mean-spiritedness will last. Joel McHale (the lead) has decent timing, so I think he'll grow into the role. He's good on The Soup. |

: 0 For This Post 0 Total | Mad Men has been just fantastic the last two weeks. Really, really strong episodes. I was laughing for a good 2-3 minutes at Sterling's "just when he got it in the door" comment. Based on the timeline, Kennedy's assassination should be coming up soon - that will be really interesting to watch. |

: 0 For This Post 1 Total | As far as Mad Men itself, the show seems kind of uneven to me right now. The office-based stuff has been fantastic, maybe the best it's ever been, but the home-based stuff has been pretty off. When a show feels the need to start relying on dream sequences, I think it's gone off the rails a bit. |

I have to think that this season ends with Don either assuming control of Sterling Cooper or going out on his own. It looks like a lot of the characters are being pushed out -- Don not having the patience for the economics of the business, Roger being left off the flow chart, Peggy and Pete being offered a new home by Duck, and maybe Joan already gone permanently from Sterling Cooper.
