: 0 For This Post 0 Total | I've been meaning to revisit Rushmore, but man I love that song. So good. Really only Ronnie Wood nailed the delivery though. It has to be slurred and boozy. The whole thing's a reminder to go deeper into this corner. I have all the Faces stuff, but nothing Small Faces beyond a collection, and no solo Lane. But it's def a reminder of what a sick amount of talent there was in those circles at that time, in that nexus of Stones/Beck/Stewart/etc. Nicky Hopkins, McLagan, etc. Wood is insanely underrated. |
